Back in 1934 at the lowest point of the Great Depression, Lawrence and his wife Ester started Cox Motor Sales.
Ford had introduced their first V-8 just two years earlier and in this tough time, two tough men, Lawrence Cox
and Henry Ford partnered to sell, service and bring Ford value to the New Richmond area. Now, the Ford Motor Company
is more than 100 years old and Cox Motors is over 70 years old. We both have grown beyond the wildest imagination
of either of these two automotive visionaries. Here we are today, two families, both of whom who are still
partnered to bring value to the St. Croix River Valley. You have to agree both Henry Ford and Lawrence Cox would
be very, very proud of what we are today, 70 years later.
